Academics

Phi Mu Fraternity encourages women to strive for academic success. A minimum grade point average of 2.75 is required of all sisters and to achieve this goal, our chapter provides numerous support opportunities for sisters.

Our Academic Chairman hosts weekly study halls in the lodge, coffee shop, and other locations on campus for sisters to gather and study together. One of our goals as a sisterhood is to support each other and provide aid if there are any challenges academically. We also operate under a study point system in which chapter members submit study points for the hard academic work they do. This can include going to a professor's office hours, studying with one another, or going to a study hall!

Just last spring, four of our sisters presented at conferences in their majors and attended the University's Marking Excellence presentation at the end of the year!
